Guidance in Consciousness and Integrative Hypnosis

Mélissa Heidmann
Hypnopractitioner

Hello, my name is Mélissa and I am a French expatriate living in Berlin. I offer support to people looking to regulate their emotions, free themselves from burdens, overcome blockages, and initiate change in their lives. The method I use is designed to promote emotional soothing and personal fulfilment. I work in English, French and German, in person in Berlin-Friedrichshain and remotely. I support people who are on a journey of reconnecting with themselves, personal evolution, emancipation and empowerment. I work mainly on the soothing and regulation of emotions. The issues addressed may be related to trauma (sexual abuse, grief, violence...) experienced or inherited from childhood or transgenerational trauma. I also help people free themselves from blockages, limiting beliefs, negative patterns, dependancies... enabling them to move forward in their lives, become more assertive, achieve personal goals, embark on a career change... To achieve this, I use therapeutic tools such as Ericksonian and Humanistic Hypnosis combined with Bilateral Alternating Stimulation, Neuro-Linguistic Programming and coaching. I am committed to supporting the people who consult me with gentleness and kindness, listening empathetically and being fully engaged in each of the supports I offer. I want to contribute in my own way to the world I want to live in by bringing about change in the way we are and live together. Between being driven by our emotions and detaching ourselves from them in favour of unfailing rationality, I want to restore balance: an emotion is a message that informs us about a need, a desire, a personal limit or a value. Our emotions make us deeply human; they are precious and useful. It's about putting them back in their rightful place so that we can appreciate all the benefits they have to offer.

From the very beginning of my professional life, I gravitated toward careers related to personal care. I began working at the age of 16 with the elderly, both at home and in retirement homes. Inspired by the wisdom they shared with me, I trained as a caregiver. My personal experience first led me to a cancer center and work in a palliative care unit. The relational aspect was predominant there, particularly in supporting people at the end of their lives and their families through this profoundly transformative experience. I was committed to facilitating this transition with gentleness and dignity. It was there that I first observed the benefits of Hypnosis in a healthcare context, particularly in the management of pain and anxiety. This now enables me to support people through the mourning process. I then channelled my commitment and energy into supporting people with disabilities. I accompanied them in their personal development and life projects, while working towards a more inclusive world. This experience taught me how to inspire change, bring projects to life and encourage personal development. After another transition, this time to living abroad, I obtained my state diploma as a specialized educator. I initially focused on early childhood education, working in Franco-German kindergartens. During this experience, I became particularly interested in children's emotional development through in-depth work on regulating and integrating emotions, while continuing my inclusion work with children with special needs. This experience allows me to work with children (aged 7 and above) and parents, and more generally on attachment and childhood experiences. I have always been intrigued by Hypnosis and fascinated by the mechanisms of the brain, how life events can impact it, the techniques and methods used to integrate these experiences and free oneself from them, strategies for regulating and managing stress, and more broadly, I have a keen interest in personal development and neuroscience. This is how I came to train in Integrative Hypnosis. This technique allows me to continue accompanying people by combining my various skills: supporting life transitions and grief, soothing suffering, encouraging evolution, supporting personal projects, regulating emotions, integrating life experiences, transcending attachment bonds, reparenting one's inner child... I still work as a specialized educator alongside my work as a hypnopractitioner, helping children with disabilities to regulate their emotions and develop their communication skills. My diverse experiences allow me to offer a holistic and humanistic approach to support you and help you break free from what is blocking or limiting you, so that you can achieve your life goals, be aligned with yourself and your environment, and feel in harmony with your life.

« Thanks to this guidance, I was able to work deeply on traumatic events that had been weighing on me for a long time. I also became aware of everything in my environment that was poisoning my daily life, sometimes without me even realising it. This allowed me to move forward, sort things out, take a step back, and above all, learn to listen to myself, to give myself time without feeling guilty, and that has changed a lot of things in my daily life. »
